Camcorder problems, need help please!?

-i have a samsung NTSC model# SCD103 and ive recorded on it before but now, of course, im leaving for a vacation tomorrow morning and it's not working. When i replay the tapes to watch them everything is fine, the camera itself is fine but when i go to record or take a picture now, the screen has vertical lines from side to side. the sound works and when i play what i just recored, it shows the lines on my record. so, i have no idea whats going on. any idea? i'd really like to take my camera with me.
