I can't finalize my mini-DVD?

-I have a Canon DC330, and I'm using DVD-RW discs. I need to finalize the disc I filmed on because it's the only way I can get the videos onto my computer (Finalizing the disc, burning it, and then converting the files). However, it won't let me finalize the disc. I have no idea why. Any ideas on how to get it to let me?I have heard that some camera's do not require finalizing of rewritable discs. Have you tried using the disc without finalizing it? What does your manual say concerning rewritable desks?
