Can a digital camera's lens be damaged if you record a video driectly from a computer screen?

-the screen is foggy with lines running horizonally what can be the cause?Hi



I have filmed off a computer screen and had no problems and as for the lines you can change the refresh rate for your monitor in the control panel or graphic card software or try a very cheap chinese camera and you can get the for about 拢10 and seem to do very good off screen recordings.And are about the size of your finger and are always on ebay.
