-MPEG-4 is not compatible with Windows Movie Maker. What do I do to edit an MPEG-4 video if I'm on a Windows machine. (Not too technical.)You can convert the mpeg-4 video to wmv video at first, and then you can edit the wmv video with windows machine. You can install ffdshow - that should enable Windows Movie Maker to edit your video.
You can convert the video to a supported format - that'll almost certainly degrade the video.
You can buy an editor that supports MPEG-4.
