How do I transfer VHS video tapes to my computer?

-I have a VHS machine connected to the TV but don鈥檛 use anymore. I want to be able to save old VHS family tapes on to my laptop and then put them on to a DVD from my laptop. and yes you can watch it on a dvd player after you burn it with your pc
We use oriondvd.co.uk who did all our tapes for 拢3 each
