The computer won't detect my camera?

-So, it turns out that my mom's computer has the software I need to import videos from my camera without going through the hassle of burning to a disc, etc.



Well, her computer won't detect my camcorder. I mean, it shows up when I go to My Computer, it says it's plugged in, but when I try to select it with CameraWindow or ZoomBrowser EX it says it can't detect the camera. Any ideas on how to fix this?If the computer can see it just use Windows Explorer. You're only moving files around so you don't need any extra software.
